This is the first exhibition summarizing an important period in the history of hockey for both Tychy and Polish sport. The exhibition, prepared in cooperation with Gemini Park Tychy, shows hockey as a global and attractive sport. Five thematic zones tell the story of the roots of Tychy hockey, the creation of the first ice rink, as well as an important object on the city map – the Winter Stadium designed by Marek Dziekoński. There is no shortage of stories related to thousands of hockey players, such as Mariusz Czerkawski, Krzysztof Oliwa and Henryk Gruth. We take a separate look at the goalkeepers, as well as the profiles of the players of the 2019 championship team.
The exhibition includes not only numerous photographs, hockey equipment, trophies and souvenirs. It is primarily an opportunity to learn about the rules and curiosities associated with the fastest sport in the world.
Our work consisted of graphic and industrial designs for all thematic zones of the exhibition. We have prepared a proprietary set of graphics and the entire visual language of the exhibition, which included: choosing the typefaces, colors, designing graphic elements, creating typography layouts and choosing finishing materials.
