Concept of wayfinding system in Europejski building in Warsaw

The presented project is a wayfinding concept prepared as part of the Investor’s internal competition. Europejski is hosting one of the most luxurious hotels – the Raffles Europejski Warsaw as well as luxury retail and A+ office spaces. Europejski was built according to the design of Henry and Leander Marconi and was constructed in stages between the years 1855–1877. When designing the wayfinding system for this space, we have tried to prepare ideas that would relate to the building’s rich history and, at the same time, fit into the current interior design project. As part of the competition work, we have prepared a concept of a set of pictograms (inspired by the typeface used by the Europejski Hotel), a design of a mobile information carrier and a carrier in the commercial part of the building, concept of room numbering and a proposal for marking the reception area.
