This project aimed to create a unified and unique architecture dedicated to cyclists that would be integrated with both the wayfinding system and the route description standards that distinguish the Krynica-Poprad region from others. The project offered a unified system of street furniture which, through its functionality, scale, and aesthetic values, has met the needs of cycling.
The central point for cyclists’ service facility is a parking and leisure shelter. The design assumption aimed at creating a space that would protect from rain/sun, allow to rest or eat a meal and all that close to nature. The carriers were designed in a traditional, natural manner. Thanks to the use of high contrasts and bright colors, they are visible from afar.
